Usha Mahavir Foundation envisions a world where no one suffers because they are Physically challenged or have special abilities. More than a decade into our mission, our work has contributed to historic progress toward this goal. Now, we’re taking things online to make the needed commitment, funding, and innovation required to achieve one of the greatest humanitarian accomplishments – ending discrimination towards the physically challenged within our generation.

Our History
The Usha Mahavir Foundation was established in 2021, inspired by Mrs. Usha Mittal and Mr. Mahavir Prasad Mittal’s journey of supporting their son, Chirag, who overcame the challenges of Retinitis Pigmentosa to become an Assistant Professor. This experience highlighted the need for greater awareness and opportunities for differently-abled individuals.
With over a decade of dedication, the Foundation has focused on empowering those with physical challenges through health, education, rehabilitation, and economic support initiatives. Our mission is to create an inclusive society where everyone can live a self-reliant and dignified life, breaking barriers and fostering hope.

In the last few years, before forming the Usha Mahavir Foundation, we have tried to do our best as individuals to help people with special abilities become self-reliant. Numerous people in this country only needed our support, so we formed the Usha Mahavir Foundation.The Usha Mahavir Foundation was established in 2021, and we help numerous people who need help and want to become self-reliant individuals.
We at Usha Mahavir Foundation want to serve physically challenged individuals and try to encourage them to be pillars for the bright future we have dreamed of.For over a decade, the Usha Mahavir Foundation has been dedicated to rehabilitating differently-abled individuals from underprivileged backgrounds. Through health, education, corrective surgeries, and aid distribution programs, we provide physical, social, and economic support, striving to create meaningful change in India and the US.
We are a corporation that helps differently abled individuals realize their hopes, dreams, and ambitions and helps those who need just a touch of extra support.We aim to make an inclusive society where people with physical challenges are accepted into the mainstream economy and social life. Everyone is unique and talented and is trying to find an opportunity to excel.
